Leicester City Vs Arsenal – Every club would want to start their season on a positive note, however, it hasn’t been the case for the two : Leicester City and Arsenal. While previous league champions Leicester suffered a shock defeat against Hull City who are facing the worst conditions in the whole of Premier League with only 13 first team players, no first choice manager and no new signings. Whereas Arsenal simply gifted the match to their oppositions after leading 1-0 in the first half. At one point, Liverpool seemed unstoppable and ran riot against defensively deficient Arsenal side achieving 4-1 scoreline by the 65th minute but Arsenal did try to reduce the deficit, which just wasn’t enough. Hence, it becomes massively important for both sides to gain their first win of the season, even if it’s the early stages.

Team News : Leicester City
It certainly provides a big boost to the team when their best performers last season sign a new long-term contract. Initially, it was Jamie Vardy and currently it’s Riyad Mahrez, both were linked to current opposition Arsenal for quite a long time. But, both players ended the speculations quickly and decided to stay at Leicester which does deserve some respect, especially in today’s world.
Robert Huth served his one-game suspension and is back in contention for the first XI. He would slot straight back into the central defence partnering captain Wes Morgan replacing their new signing Luis Hernandez. Other than that, there are no new injury issues at the moment and we could almost see the same team.
Team News : Arsenal
It would be a miracle for seeing a fully fit Arsenal squad, however, that looks far from promising as yet again they lost two crucial players in Aaron Ramsey and impressive youngster Alex Iwobi. The two players added to the list of Gabriel Paulista, Per Mertesacker, Danny Welbeck. However, the biggest concern for them would be their deficiency in central defence where they have only the youngsters, Calum Chambers and Rob Holding. A potential yet risky return of Laurent Koscielny would be crucial as they will be needing the experience factor badly. Koscielny can be joined by Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud in contention for starting XI. While new signing Granit Xhaka can hope for his debut start in the Premier League.
