Bayern Munich eye €40 million Alexis Sanchez

Bayern Munich wants to buy Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal as they eye the Chile international as the perfect replacement to Frank Ribery who is in his twilight days. Arjen Robben is the other player Bayern Munich wants to replace and Sanchez is seen as the player capable of matching the class of the famous ‘Robery’ duo.

Pep Guardiola’s stint at the Allianz Arena is about to end as the Spaniard is all set to join Manchester City at the end of this season which is officially confirmed. Carlo Ancelotti is announced as Pep Guardiola’s successor and the will take over the reigns with a handful of problems to fix.

Wenger - Sanchez

The No.1 problem comes in the names of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. The duo is one of the best attacking pairs in the recent years but due to the continuous injury problems, Bayern Munich has to look for a replacement and Robben is clearly reaching his last few years of top level football. The Munich giants have already signed Brazilian winger Douglas Costa and are aiming to permanently sign Juventus sensation Coman. Costa is already at the peak of his powers and is not expected to match the class of ‘Robery’ duo and Coman is too young to be considered as a replacement.

Alexis Sanchez is definitely one of the best players that Bayern can get as the former Barcelona star has enough potential to match the famous pair’s class. And the Chilean has his best potential days ahead of him. Carlo Ancelotti is believed to be an admirer of Alexis Sanchez and it is reported that the Italian will ask for the Chilean’s signature as soon as he takes over the manager job at Bayern Munich.

Alexis Sanchez is highly rated by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and the Gunners will not sell their best player so easily. But considering the lack of silverware and continuous failure in the Elite stage of Europe (i.e) The Champions League, Alexis Sanchez may be tempted to look for a move away from the Emirates.
