Certainly, one can’t be as cool as such, particularly after your boss snubs you out of the national lineup in a major European competition. But there are life lessons to be learnt from the legendary Italian playmaker, Andrea Pirlo, who was pictured tanning under the brisk sun at Miami Beach. There were few complaints on Antonio Conte when he decided not to pick Andrea Pirlo who was Italy’s pillar in the centre for over a decade, but the new Chelsea manager proved his point by cruising through the group stage as group winners. But, Pirlo is definitely unimpressed !!!
The 37-year old recently switched to the MLS side New York City FC from Juventus in his final football days. Pirlo went unsuccessfully to score in any of his 26 games with the American side but broke the jinx in this dramatic weekend 3-2 triumph over Philadelphia in which his trademark curling free-kick became unstoppable.
Italian manager Antonio Conte dropped Andrea Pirlo from the list of men to carry out their international business in France, yet, nothing left Pirlo to worry about as he was pictured enjoying a mini break in Miami with his family.
The midfield maestro has enjoyed some of his best football with both Italy and various clubs he played for in his lengthy career. Recently Pirlo was rumoured to take the boss role in Munich camp, though it’s been days after finalising the position to Pirlo’s former boss Carlo Ancelotti.
It was under Carlo when Pirlo thrived to win two Champions League titles back in 2003 and 2007 in glorious 8-year tenure.
Antonio Conte’s preferred line-up and his interesting 3-5-2 formation have just conceded him a goal against Ireland, despite his team progressing to the round of 16 to set up a mouth-watering clash against former champions Spain.
So, man, it’s Italy vs Spain. Yet he is unimpressed !
