The highly anticipated deal has finally happened as per reports who claim Jose Mourinho has signed a three-year deal with Manchester United which will keep at the Old Trafford until 2019. The deal was achieved after senior members of Manchester United’s management Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Alex Ferguson have agreed (at last) to sack Louis van Gaal.
Jose Mourino’s next destination has been Manchester United from the day he was sacked as Chelsea’s manager by club owner Roman Abramovich who thought the Portuguese created a mess in the dressing room and lost the players’ faith. But nothing changed at Chelsea even after the manager’s sack as Chelsea are sinking in all the races. Mourinho meanwhile decided to take a ‘rest’ for a short time as he has not taken up any offers till to date.
Some reports claimed that the Portuguese is waiting for an official call from Manchester United as he is desperate for a union with Manchester United, a club he always wanted to coach of course it was not his first choice club in England. Manchester United might have not taken the decision if Louis van Gaal has given a bit more positive results. But the Dutch man’s continuous errors and the lack of understanding with his players are finally costing him his job.
Mourinho was believed to had snubbed Real Madrid’s approach twice in January as he was waiting for a call from Manchester United. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is a Mourinho-fan who wanted the Portuguese to take over the club once Rafa Benitez was sacked. But, Mourinho’s heart was set on one club. It is Manchester United. Main reason is, Mourinho’ family. They all love their life in England and are not interested in moving abroad once again.
Also, Mourinho may want to prove his quality to Chelsea and it’s board members by staying in England and by getting the biggest job in English football. Manchester United are undoubtedly the world’s largest club with a huge fanbase. If Mourinho can make the Red Devils win their lost pride back, then it will be a remarkable achievement and it will also teach a lesson to the Chelsea board. Maybe Mourino is up to this, but for now, he is just Jose Mourinho until an official news comes out from the Old Trafford camp.
