Chelsea’s unsettled star Eden Hazard is wanted by new manager Antoine Conte and the Italian has expressed his plans on the player when he met the Chelsea squad in the training grounds. It is widely reported that Eden Hazard is Real Madrid-bound and will move to the Spanish capital in this summer transfer window as Real Madrid eye the Belgian as the Galactico signing for this year.
Antoine Conte recently announced as Chelsea’s next manager to replace Guss Hiddink after the end of this season has visited the Chelsea training grounds to meet the squad and it is reported that the Italian had a brief talk with the Belgian star who has been pivotal for Chelsea last season when the won the Premier League and Capital One Cup double. Hazard is an asset to Chelsea who is valued at 80m Euros, but the player’s recent performances and Chelsea’s struggles this season coupled with the undesired linking of the player with the sack of former manager Jose Mourinho has built an uncertainty over the player’s future at the Stamford Bridge.
Hazard recently admitted that he has not contact with Real Madrid or any other club and is only focussing on the job at Chelsea, but the Belgian did not rule out a future move completely. French Champions Paris Saint-Germain and Spanish giants Real Madrid are always following the winger as the teams eye Hazard as their future superstar. But Chelsea continued rejecting the offers and made Hazard their best-paid player to avoid further uncertainties.
Conte who after the meeting with Chelsea players reportedly said the club officials that he is not intended to change the major part of the squad and is determined to use the team’s core unchanged. It will be hard for Chelsea to keep the player if PSG or Madrid come up with a huge offer, but the Blues can convince the player to stay and that is the only way to keep the player settles. Though the player is not in his best form, he is a world class without a doubt and is possibly one of the future Ballon d’Or contenders.
