Cristiano Ronaldo is nowhere near to Gareth Bale

Cristiano Ronaldo is nowhere near to Gareth Bale  : Crystal Palace and Wales midfielder Joe Ledley has voiced up his frustration on being eliminated from the Euro Championship 2016 as he fired at Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo whose Man of the Match performances against Wales sent Ledley and his team back home. Ronaldo scored a goal and assisted another to send Wales out of the tournament. Wales were considered as one of the dark horses of the competition and were expected to get past the struggling Portugal who has not won a single game in the regular 90 minutes.

Ronaldo - Bale

He’s one of those players who frustrates you, He’s never in the game compared to Gareth Bale. He’s[Bale] always in the game, always on the ball, always wanting it, always dribbling and always trying to do something.

They were two crappy goals. Ronaldo’s shot was useless.

Normally he hits them from there but he scuffled the cross for a tap-in.With the header, the guy can leap, but apart from that he didn’t really do anything in the game.

You can’t disagree with his ability. He’s a fantastic player, one of the best in the world. But we just had one of those days where things he did came off. He’s now in the final and you wish him well.

Cristiano Ronaldo is nowhere near to Gareth Bale, Ledley sparks outrage on Ronaldo

Ronaldo and Bale play for the same team Real Madrid on the club level and the relationship between the pair has been questioned many a number of times. Though Ronaldo and Bale showed great sportsmanship after the game and hung on well, the reports still differ. Ledley’s comments are a bit harsh on Ronaldo considering the player’s efforts for Portugal in the tournament so far. Ronaldo is undoubtedly the best player for Portugal who has scored 4 goals and assisted twice.
Real Madrid fans may not be impressed by the Welsh man’s comments, but the player was right in backing his teammate and his comments are not completely wrong. Bale was the better player on the pitch, but Ronaldo just showed his class on two occasions which were enough for Portugal to reach the finals whereas Bale lacked the final product.
